Overhead Chain Conveyor Systems

The MCM division of Amber Industries has developed and manufactures a comprehensive range of modular overhead chain conveyors for light, medium and heavy duty applications.

MCM Autotrack - Power & Free Conveyor Systems A range of ‘power & free’ overhead chain conveyors designed with the flexibility to allow product to be directed along different routes with in the same system depending upon the sequence.

MCM Powertrack A range of ‘monorail’ overhead chain conveyors suitable for handling a wide range of product in many industries. They come in two types: the ‘enclosed chain’ type for medium loads up to 100Kg and the ‘open chain’ type for heavier loads up to 500Kg.

MCM Sidetrack - Monorail Conveyor Systems A range of ‘monorail’ overhead chain conveyors with the track rotated through 90 degrees so that any contamination from the chain, such as lubricating oil is prevented from falling on to the product.

Floor Conveyor Systems

Amber Automation is the division of Amber Industries which specialises in automated conveyor systems for carrying unit loads such as totes, cartons, pallets etc. sometimes referred to as floor conveyor systems. These types of conveyor system, which can range from simple manually operated single function conveyors to complex fully automated systems, are extensively used in warehouses, distribution centres, parcel sorting depots and many types of factories where unit loads need to be moved.

Amber Automation Powered & Gravity Roller Conveyors Roller conveyors are versatile and relatively low cost so they make up the main part of many unit load conveyor systems. They can be either free running relying on gravity to move the load or powered where the roller provide the motive force.

Amber Automation Level & Incline Belt Conveyors Belt conveyor systems offer a solution for handling product loads which are irregular in shape and do not always have a rigid flat lower surface required for roller conveyors. They also have the advantage that they can be set on an incline or decline in order to change the elevation of the product load.

Amber Automation Pallet & Heavy Duty Chain Conveyors Chain conveyors, sometimes referred to as drag chain conveyors, are comprised of 2, 3 or multiple strands of roller bush chain guided on parallel tracks.
