Leading conveyor manufacturer Amber Industries announce the opening of a new demonstration and test area as part of their continued total commitment to supplying quality conveying equipment, and servicing the needs of OEM's and material handling system integrators.

Celebrating the launch of this considerable investment in an innovation centre, a series of 'Open Days' in May and early June are to be announced to enable customers the opportunity to see for themselves the facilities available and learn first hand how this new demonstration and test facility could benefit them ,and their end user customers looking for integrated handling systems.

The 1,000sq ft demonstration area is fully equipped with modular floor mounted conveying equipment from Peer Conveyors and displays full working conveying systems with integrated plc operation. This investment provides OEM's and system integrators with strictly controlled demonstration and test facilities for development of their own products as well as the opportunity to bring in end user customers looking for product based trials or simulations.

Systems integrate various conveyors including Peer's flagship LS50 lineshaft and ZP50 zero pressure accumulation roller conveyor .

Also demonstrated will be the patented quick release 'Gramac' powered belt bends and mergers, following the acquisition of the engineering rights for the manufacture and sale of the product.

A range of specialist modular handling features such as merges, curves, switches, power stops, buffer storage, metering stops and back to back conveyor widths up to 1m wide, will enable comprehensive product testing to ensure proven system integrity and total customer satisfaction.
